Fishing is truly a great activity to pass on to the family. For Bren, it was her dad that brought her into fishing when she was younger.

Lure preferences

Bren has different preferences depending on the method of fishing she’s using for the day. When bottom fishing, Bren prefers using live bait, while she likes to use artificial bait if she's trolling. Biggest catch
Biggest or heaviest fish that you've caught?
We also asked Bren what the biggest or heaviest fish she's caught is. “I’m not sure on the weight,” Bren said, “but definitely a bluefin tuna or sailfish.” There have been reports of Atlantic bluefin tuna weighing up to 1,500 pounds in weight, while sailfish can weigh up to 220 pounds!
Favorite fish
What are your favorite fish to catch? Why?
Bren enjoys catching a variety of fish because, in her words, "all subspecies are fun.” She said firstly, “My favorite fish to catch are tuna.” She described how she enjoys catching yellowfin and blackfin, as they can “give you a fun fight as they torpedo through the water.” Additionally, Bren said that she enjoyed catching bluefins, saying that they "can have you reeling for hours.”
