Lake, river, or sea?

Where do you prefer to go fishing? Lake, river, or the sea?

Tracy answered that she would fish in any body of water. “I am not limited to just one,” she said.

Advice to beginner anglers

What advice would you give to beginner anglers?

“For a beginner, the most important thing is to take as much information from someone who's willing to give it, especially an experienced [one],” Tracy said. According to Tracy, picking their brains and just putting in the time will go a long way.

Getting hooked

What got you into fishing?

Tracy learned how to fish with her family, much like many other anglers. “I got into fishing from my dad. [A]s a kid, we would go fish the pier and the jetties,” she recounted.

Fishing is truly a great activity to pass on in the family. While it’s an activity Tracy picked up from her own parent, she teaches it as a parent, too. “Once I had my first son, he was very passionate about it and got me hooked even more, and now I'm completely obsessed,” Tracy shared.

If you could fish anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Tracy replied, “If I could fish anywhere in the world, I would love to go to Florida.”

What is something you always forget when you go fishing?

According to Tracy, she often forgets to bring snacks, water, and sunscreen when she goes fishing. “You would think as a mom I would remember that,” she remarked humorously.
