North Dakota Offers Free Fishing Weekend in June

What is it? Why should you use it? Types of tshirt

North Dakota residents will have the opportunity to cast their lines without a license during the state's free fishing weekend on June 1-2, the North Dakota Game and Fish Department announced Tuesday. The annual event allows all residents 16 and older to fish any of the state's waters without the need for a fishing license.

While residents 15 and younger can fish without a license year-round, the free fishing weekend provides an excellent chance for those new to the sport to give it a try or for experienced anglers to introduce someone to the joys of fishing.

The Game and Fish Department encourages interested individuals to visit their website for information on fishing regulations, prime fishing spots, and essential equipment needed for a successful outing on the water.
