Baitium UPF 50+ Hooded Long Sleeve Fishing Shirt - Basics Series

I liked the shirt a lot. Bought it awhile back and forgot I had it. Wore it to a baseball game and washed it. Not even a full day of wear. The seems are already coming apart.I bought it because it was the cheapest sun shirt I could find on Amazon. Lesson learned.Update-They reached out and sent a replacement shirt. Seems to be holding together fine. Changed the stars to reflect the replacement. Thank you.

I really like this sun shirt. It is very light and comfortable it fits snug but not to tight. It is a breathable material and comes with a hood and also the front pocket. Basically the thinnest hoodie I have ever had, in a good way. Coverage of a hoodie but the feel of a t shirt. It also has thumb holes to hold the sleeves down, although they stay in place just fine. To me this is the one area that could use improvement, as the holes feel like they should be on the other side of the sleeve. Whe…n your thumbs face in toward your body it feels normal but if you turn them the sleeves get tighter and it is a little awkward. It is a minor complaint though over all the shirt is great. I was not sure on the size. I am 5'9 and 165lbs, I got the small and it fits well.

The Baitium Mens Dry-Fit UPF 50+ Sun Shirt Hooded is an excellent shirt for a variety of situations. I have used it so far on a trip to Scotland, where the weather can go from comfortably warm to miserably cold in just a few minutes (or a few miles of travel). The shirt makes an excellent base layer that is perfect alone when the weather is nice but is not too warm with a light jacket over it when the wind blows and it turns cooler. The fabric is very comfortable against my skin, and it drys qu…ickly if it gets wet. I can imagine it would also work well in warmer climates because of the dry-fit fabric, and the long sleeves and UPF-50 treatment offer protection from the sun. I also like the hood for when the wind is blowing, and the sleeves have thumb holes and there is a front pocket so my hands can stay warm as well. The shirt is well sewn, without any visible flaws or bad stitching, and it has held up well through several washings. The size is exactly as expected. The Baitium Mens Dry-Fit UPF 50+ Sun Shirt Hooded is an excellent choice for anyone who spends a lot of time doing outdoor activities, such as hiking, and it is a great value as well. I recommend it and give it five stars.

I'm 5'7ish male (went with a small size) and this fits a bit looser and longer than some of the other brands. It does come with a front pocket and finger holes to loop your thumb for some hand sun protection. The logo is coming off a bit after about 3 washes but I'm still wearing this at least once a week for comfort. It's really great to have these also with the hood in the evenings to keep warm as well and/or sleep in these.

Expandable, fits to size (Large) and it really keeps you covered and fresh if you are out in the sun fishing, camping, hiking, golfing, etc. Wish it had a gaiter but that's not very common so I can take points from that. Otherwise, 5/5!

I ordered this shirt for my husband who fishes tournaments constantly and always comes home with a sunburn on the back of his neck and on his forearms. I am happy to report that not any more! He packed this shirt for him on his last trip, and he wore it pre-fishing and thankfully came home with tanned but not burnt arms and neck. He said that it was perfect for fishing as the fabric was lightweight and breathable, he also said that the fit was great! He has a super long torso, and this fit well…, he said it will fit him better when he loses a couple lbs from his waist. For me, this shirt is perfect for him and I would recommend it to any fishermen out there looking to protect their skin.

The shirt is very light weight and breathes nicely. The sleeves have the convenient thumb holes which keeps the sleeves right where you want them. I don't get super hot when standing in direct sun as the fabric breathes nicely. The hood is nice, but is pretty big and can cover your face if pulled tightly. On the other hand the extra size is nice if you also want to wear a hat. Nice shirt.
